FREE RANGE SINGERS started Sept. 17.
The Free Range Singers, an inclusive community choir, has begun its fall session, The Rhythm of Love, on September 17.
This group meets on Tuesday nights from 7:00-8:30pm in the UUCD Sanctuary. All voices are welcome, including singing children when accompanied by a singing adult.
The fall session will run 16 weeks from Sept. 17 to Jan. 20, with no rehearsal the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years, and extra rehearsals the week before the concert.
The culminating event will be The Rhythm of Love, a community fundraising concert on Martin Luther King Day, Jan. 20, 2014, which will include the UU Sparks Choir and other local singing groups.
The Free Range Singing experience is funded by singer contributions. Flexible fees: $125-$195 for the season, or $30-$50/month for four months. Scholarships available. Try a September rehearsal for free and see it is your new singing home!
SPARKS CHOIR HAS STARTED UP!
The Sparks Choir resumed Thursday August 29, 7:15-9:00PM in the UU Church of Davis Sanctuary.
All voices welcome. The commitment is to Thursday night rehearsals and three Sundays a month performing a song or two for the 11:15 service. This is a fun family of devoted singers, and you can be part of it!
